Mr. Timmie Lee Wallen, 76 departed this life Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at his home in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral service and visitation are private. Burial is in Bethlehem Cemetery. Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Timmie Lee Wallen was born Tuesday, November 8, 1938 in St. Joseph, Champaign County, IL. He was the son of the late Herbert Lee Wallen and Helen Julie Brown Wallen. He departed this life Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at his home in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, having attained the age of 76 years, eight months and 20 days. Mr. Wallen had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Free Bethel Baptist Church in Cave City, KY. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a former resident of Green County and was a drywaller.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Whitlock Wallen, and the following:
  • One son: Timothy Brian Wallen of Cookeville, TN

  • One step-daughter: Marilyn Annette Paul of Glasgow, KY

  • One step son: Phillip Daniel "Boone" Matney of Green County, KY

  • Six grandchildren
