Cynthia Denise Simpson Morgan age 39 of Edmonton, KY, died Sunday, July 26, 2015 at her home.

Funeral services will be held 2pmCT, Wednesday, July 29, 2015. at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pmCT, Tuesday, July 28, 2015, and after 9amCT, Wednesday at the funeral home.



She was the daughter of the late Billy Ray Simpson and Carolyn Turner Simpson of Edmonton, KY, who survives.

She was a waitress and of the Penticostal faith.

Besides her mother she is survived by:
  • A son: Rodney Tyler Huff of Glasgow, KY

  • A daughter: Kendra Brooke Vickery and husband Dillion of Tompkinsville, KY

  • A granddaughter: Lily Brooke Vickery of Tompkinsville, KY

  • Two brothers: Tony and Melissa Simpson of Burkesville, KY; and Stacy Simpson of Marrowbone, KY

  • Three sisters: Tina and Todd Baise of Glasgow, KY; Melissa and Chris Brown of Edmonton, KY; Jamie and Joey Donoho of Carthage, TN.

  • Her step father: Lonnie Dale Smith of Edmonton, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews
Besides her father she was preceded in death by a sister in law Tammy Simpson, her maternal grandparents Ed and Ova Turner and paternal grandparents Bill and Beulah Simpson and her fiance' Darrell Keith Burton.
