Keith A. Hancock, Adair County, KY (1957-2015)

He enjoyed his profession as a Physical Therapist's Assistant, having worked at various local hospitals and home health agencies. He was a member of a highly regarded Cane Valley, KY, area family. He was born in Campbellsville, KY, and was a resident of Cane Valley at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Gaither W. and Myrtle V. (Watson) Hancock. His wife of over 30 years, Barbara Bryant Hancock, survives.

Keith A. Hancock, Columbia, KY passed away on July 25, 2015 at Rudd Heart & Lung Center Louisville, KY after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Steve Pescosolido, the officiating clergy. Interment in the Cane Valley Cemetery, 83 Cane Valley Cemetery Road, Cane Valley, KY. The family requests visiting after 4pmCT, on Monday, July 27, 2015, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.



Keith A. Hancock, Adair County, KY (1957-2015)


He was born November 27, 1957 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY. He was the son of the late Gaither W. and Myrtle V. (Watson) Hancock. died Saturday, July 25, 2015, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 57 years, seven months, and 28 days.

He married Barbara Bryant on April 6, 1985. She lovingly survives.

He was also preceded in death by his sister Jeanice Murrell and an infant brother, Warren Hancock.

Besides his wife Barbara Bryant Hancock he is survived by the following:
  • One sister: Brenda F. Brumley of Jamestown, KY

  • Three nephews: Michael, Christopher and Brian Brumley all of Kentucky

  • His mother-in-law & father-in-law: Arvil and Della Fay Bryant of Fanklin, IN

  • His brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Michael and Sandra Bryant of Franklin, IN Two nieces, Desiree Oesterling & Justina Hartell of Indiana He enjoyed his profession as a Physical Therapist's Assistant, having worked at various local hospitals and home health agencies.
