Mildred (Millie) Mae Wilson Cravens, 73, Casey County, KY (1942-2015)

She was a native of Pulaski County, KY, and a resident of Casey County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Milford Wilson, Sr. and Dollie Phelps Wilson. Her husband of 55 years, Harold Cravens, survives. She leaves seven direct living descendants. She was a long time clerk for Hill's Pharmacy in Liberty and a member of the Watson's Chapel Christian Church.

Mildred "Millie" Mae Wilson Cravens, wife of Harold Cravens, went into eternal rest to be with the Lord on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was 73.

Funeral Services will be held at 10amCT/11amET on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at McKinney Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Sherman Floyd and Bro. Ronnie Atwood officiating. Burial will follow at the Valley Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, on Monday, July 27, 2015, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers will be Roger Durham, Steve Hill, Finn Nunmaker, Joey and Steve Cravens, and Gerald Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jenna Nunmaker, Mark Cravens, Jr., Allison Cravens, and Matthew Cravens.

Mildred was born in Pulaski County, KY, on April 8, 1942. She was the daughter of he late Milford Wilson, Sr. and Dollie Phelps Wilson. She died Friday, July 24, 2015, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 73 years, three months, and 16 days.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edwin Wilson and Milford Wilson, Jr.

She was a long time clerk for Hill's Pharmacy in Liberty and a member of the Watson's Chapel Christian Church.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Harold Cravens, and the following:
  • Her daughter: Patricia (husband, Charles) Nunmaker

  • Son: Mark A. (wife, Amy) Cravens, Sr.

  • Grandchildren: Jenna and Finn Nunmaker, Mark, Jr., Allison and Matthew Cravens

  • Two brothers: Gerald (wife, Wanda) Wilson and William G. (wife, Carol) Wilson

  • and a host of nieces and nephews
The family would like to thank Lesley Wesley for her love, support and devotion throughout this difficult time. They would also like to thank the community and Valley Oak Church members for opening their door and hearts for the meal after the service.
