Writer recalls fond memories as Irene Nell approaches 100 An Adair County Treasure, Irene Miller Nell, celebrates her 100th birthday, Friday, July 24, 2015 Von Price writes: I would like to wish Mrs. Irene Nell a wonderful and very Happy Birthday. It is wonderful that she is able to celebrate 100 years. And she looks marvelous! I remember when I was growing up and going to town on Saturday and one of my favorite places was going to the "Dime Store" and buying some candy. I always bought the maple nut goodies. I can still see her weighing it and putting in a little brown bag. She was always very nice as if I just spent $10.00. Thank you Mrs Nell !! - Von Price, Englewood, Fla --Von PriceComments re article 76576 Happy 100th birthday Irene Miller Nell This story was posted on 2015-07-23 07:35:56
