Jamestown Police Department issues Golden Alert, missing man (18 Jul 2015) UPDATE - "Please cancel the Golden alert on this subject, he was located earlier today. A press release with further details will be forthcoming from the Kentucky State Police. - JAMESTOWN CITY POLICE " 57 year old Jamestown, KY man with severely high blood pressure requiring daily medication reported missing on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 Click on headline for complete story Chief Derek Polston of the Jamestown Police Department has issued a Golden Alert in the missing person case involving Thomas Wade Polston. The JPD received a report that Mr. Polston was missing on 15 Jul 2015. He was last seen in the limits of Jamestown. Polston is a 57-year-old white male 6' tall, approximately 200 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes. According to family members, Mr. Polston has severely high blood pressure, which requires daily medication. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Thomas W. Polstonis urged to contact the Jamestown Police Department at 270-343-3300 or the Russell County Dispatch at 270-343-6600.
