Doug McCammish: Accurate diagnosis at WRH saved his life, too

Doug McCammish writes:
I agree with Richard Lee and have had a similar experience with WRH. As some know, I visited the Emergency Room one Saturday morning looking for help for a "minor" problem, but was diagnosed accurately with a much more serious problem and whisked away to UK for surgery.

I'm told that, untreated, I would probably have fallen asleep and not awakened.

I could not have asked for better, more efficient, and more prompt care by the nurses, doctor, and pharmacist on duty. Going an extra 25 miles for emergency help may not seem bad unless you've been there. --Doug McCammish
