Mrs. Rebecca Ann Fister, Green County, KY (1971-2015)

Mrs. Rebecca Ann Fister of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of Gilbert Fister of Indiana and her mother and aunt: Shelia Honeycutt Whitlock of Campbellsville, and Laquata Neeley of Greensburg, was born on May 7, 1971 in Shelby, North Carolina, and departed this life on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the University of Louisville hospital. She was 44 years, one month, and 17 days of age.

The funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca Ann Fister will be conducted at 12pm Noon CT/1 pm ET, Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Emmanuel (Free Will) Baptist Church, 3815 West Broadway, Louisville, KY, with burial to follow in the Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Bro. Wayne McCoy will be officiating.Visitation is requested from 4pmCT Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, and after 10amCT/11amET, Monday at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Louisville until time of the funeral service. Pallbearers: Duane Neeley,Joey Honeycutt, Doug Honeycutt, Rondal Honeycutt, Darrell Puckett, Jericho McCoy, and Steve Waddill.



She had made a profession of faith in Christ.

Other survivors include the following:
  • One daughter: Kelly Nicole Fister New Mexico

  • A grandson: Logan Michael Bernard of New Mexico

  • One brother: Duane Neeley of Greensburg, KY

  • Aunts and uncles: Rondal and Linda Honeycutt of Campbellsville, KY; Doug and Pam Honeycutt of Leithfield

  • Five cousins: Angels Honeycutt McCoy of Campbellsville, KY; and Tim Honeycutt, Julie Honeycutt, Emily Honeycutt and Joey Honeycutt all of Louisville, KY

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Diabetes Foundation, which can be made at the funeral home.
