Adair Co. Clerk is receiving same-sex marriage requests By Ed Waggener Contacted at 11:15amCT this morning, Adair County Clerk Lisa Greer said that she has already received inquiries for marriage licenses from two same sex couples. She said that at the moment, she is unable to fulfill their requests because she is awaiting receipt of revised marriage license forms from the Kentucky Department of Libraries and Archives. That department has been ordered by Governor Steve Beshear to provide the forms for immediate use.
