She was a native of Cumberland Co., KY and a resident at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Enoch & Rebecca Williams Smith, and the widow of Edd Thomas Anderson. She leaves two direct living descendants. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015, at 2pmCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Elder Rueal Boils and Bro. Herbert Goodrich officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Grove Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY. The family will receive friends after 5pmCT, on Thursday, June 25, 2015 until the funeral hour on Friday. Hettie Ruth Smith Anderson, Burkesville, KY (1928-2015) She was born in Cumberland County, KY, on Saturday, June 16, 1928, the daughter of Enoch and Rebecca Williams Smith. She died on Monday, June 22, 2015 at the Albany, Clinton County, KY, at the age of 87 years, six days. She was a member of the Jesus Name Church in Campbellsville, Kentucky, a farmer and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edd Thomas Anderson, whom she married on Saturday, September 13, 1947; her brothers, James Anderson, Kenneth Anderson, Earl Anderson and her sisters, Willie Rose Smith, Virginia Smith, Hazel Smith and Dorothy Smith.
