A Thank You to a Caring Community from the Godseys

'I don't really know why the people of Columbia are so amazing and thoughtful, but I am so very glad to live in a community filled with such genuine, wonderful people. May God bless each of you! You have blessed us abundantly! - Lisa Godsey

By Lisa Godsey

Now that Michael is FINALLY home from Frazier, we want to again say a HUGE thank you to the entire community for all the prayers, gifts, visits, calls, messages, donations, food, etc. There hasn't been a single week since the accident March 24 that someone from Columbia hasn't contacted us in some way to lighten our load. Many weeks people contacted us every single day.

I don't really know why the people of Columbia are so amazing and thoughtful, but I am so very glad to live in a community filled with such genuine, wonderful people. May God bless each of you! You have blessed us abundantly!

As a special shout-out I'd love to say a thank you to the ACHS Beta club and National Honor Society for hosting the Godsey 5K. That event raised over $3000 toward our medical expenses. We are astounded and overwhelmed.

A special thank you goes to recent graduate Noah Polston for iniating the event.

Thank you all again, so very much!

Michael, Lisa, Alan, Alex, and Andrew Godsey --Lisa Godsey
