Mary Louise Coffman, age 86 of Liberty, KY, passed away on Thursday June 18th, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Liberty, KY on September 16, 1928 to the late Jesse Thomas and Maudie Mae Atwood Hicks.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday June 20, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY with Bro. Brandon Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Peavey Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Friday, June 19, 2015 and after 7amCT/8amET, on Saturday June 20, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

Mary Louise Coffman, was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY on September 16, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Thomas and Maudie Mae Atwood Hicks. She died Thursday, June 18, 2015, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 86 years, nine months, and two days.

She was the widow of William Luel "Blue" Coffman. She was a housewife and a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include:
  • Five daughters: Betty Joan and (J.C.) Wilkerson of Windsor, KY; Kathy Sue and (Jerry) Brown , Connie Jean and (Jackie) Brown and Carolyn and (Sam) McKinney all of Liberty, KY; and Judy Gayle and (Scott) Wood of Campbellsville, KY

  • One son: William Jerry and (Patty) Coffman of Liberty, KY

  • Fourteen grandchildren

  • Eleven great-grandchildren

  • One Brother: Merl Hicks of Junction City, KY
Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse were one son, Archie Thomas Coffman; one sister, Frances Lucille Price; and one brother, Melvin Hicks.
