Sheriff Moss matches up vehicle, crime on previous day and arrest follows Operator of White Ford Pickup caught at carwash on Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, when Sheriff spots it and remembers it matched the description of a vehicle that was involved in a theft and accident the previous day. Operator, Robert Lawson, arreted, taken into custody, and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail By Adair Co. Deputy Adam Cravens The Adair Sheriff's Office arrested a Jefferson County, KY, man Monday evening, June 1, 2015, at the car wash on Campbellsville Street. Initial stop began when Sheriff Harrison Moss noticed a white Ford pickup parked at the car wash which matched a description of a vehicle involved in a theft and accident that had occurred on the previous day. Robert Lawson 31, of Louisville, KY was initially found to have two outstanding warrants out of Jefferson and Bullit Counties. Lawson, who is a convicted felon, was found to have a .45 caliber handgun in his possession as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia. Lawson was taken into custody and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine. He was lodged in the Adair County Jail. Charges stemming from the theft and automobile accident are pending. Deputy Adam Cravens is the investigator. This story was posted on 2015-06-01 20:22:18
