Senior Walk-through: New Tradition Proves to be a keeper! The Class of 2015 walk halls of every school in the district Click on headline for story with photo(s) By Shamarie Claiborne Today marked the beginning of a new tradition within the Adair County Schools. The Class of 2015 walked the halls of every school in the district and were congratulated not only by the students, but teachers and staff as well. It was heartwarming to see the younger children all excited to see their older counterparts all dressed up in their caps and gowns. While the high school walk through was just as heartfelt - with high fives and goodbyes. Today's walk-throughs not only gave the younger students something to strive for, but it proved to be a time for the graduating class to reflect on how far they have come. I know as a staff member within this district, I am proud of the all positive things we are doing to help students grow as individuals, as well as, academically. But something about watching all those faces of the graduates and the other students' anticipation and congratulations was very special. It was a feeling of pride, ownership, and an undeniable feeling that together we can make a difference in our students' lives. This story was posted on 2015-06-01 15:15:42
