No changes reported so far, with 85 counties reporting, in recanvassing According to a tweet from the Secretary of State this morning (@KySecofState), 85 counties have reported results in the recanvass of the Republican primary vote, and no changes have been found so far in a review of the results. In a press release yesterday, Alison Grimes said she expected to release results of the recanvass by 9am today. Spreadsheets are available for download from the SOS web site, although as of 11amCT, they don't appear to have been updated yet. With the exceptions of Daviess, Fayette, Henderson, Jefferson, Kenton, Nelson and Rowan counties, which received an extension until June 1 to certify vote totals to the Secretary of State’s office, the results of the recanvass shall become the official returns of the county. All vote totals remain unofficial until the State Board of Elections certifies the results of the Primary Election. This story was posted on 2015-05-28 10:49:29
