He was a retired Semi-truck driver. He was a native of Marion County, KY, and a resident of Taylor County at the time of his death. He leaves six direct living descendants.

Charles Alan "Butch" Gabehart of Campbellsville, KY, died at 5:45pmET, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 67.

The funeral service was at 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY. Burial was in Jones Chapel Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation was 4pm-7pmCT, Friday, May 23, 2015, at the funeral home.

Charles Alan "Butch" Gabehart of Campbellsville, KY, was the son of the late Hubert R. Gabehart and Amelia A. McDonald. He was born May 28, 1947, in Marion County, KY. He died Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 67 years, 11 months, and 22 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, having served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corp.

He was a retired Semi-truck driver. He is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Amanda Gabehart and Ashley Gabehart
  • Four grandchildren: McKensie Johnson, Madison Johnson, Eli Johnson and Emma Johnson, all of Campbellsville, KY
  • One brother: John L. Gabehart and wife, Ruth of Jeffersonville, Indiana
  • Several nieces and nephews
  • Many other relatives and friends.

    He was also preceded in death by a sister, Kaye Underwood. Send condolences to the family of Charles Alan "Butch" Gabehart
