Lewis Daffron, 72, of Jamestown, KY passed away Sat. May 23, 2015 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

Funeral Services for Lewis Daffron will be Monday May 25, 2015, 2pmCT, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street Jamestown, KY. Friends may visit after 11am at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Jamestown City Cemetery, 201 N Main, Jamestown, KY.



Lewis Daffron, 72, Jamestown, KY (1942-2015)


He was born in Jamestown, KY on June 6, 1942, a son of the late Lucille (York) and Arnold Daffron. He died Saturday, May 23, 2015, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 72 years, 11 months, and 17 days.

Lewis was a retired truck driver for the State Highway Department.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Sherrye McGee of Jamestown, KY; and Leah Cravens of Fisherville, KY

  • Two sisters: June Loveless of Jamestown, KY; and Jackie Hare of Russell Springs, KY

  • Four grandchildren
Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charles (Chuck) Daffron; and three sisters Betty Daffron, Janice McGuire and Bobby Hinton.
