Intersection of KY 55 & KY 206 to be temporarily closed Closure to through traffic starts Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Sidewalk closed, also. Closure for culvert replacement expected to last six weeks By Amber Hale, Public Information Officer Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District 8, Somerset, KY SOMERSET, KY (May 21, 2015) - Beginning Wednesday, May 27, the intersection of KY 55 and KY 206 - Campbellsville & Fairgrounds Streets - in Columbia, Adair County will be temporarily closed to through traffic. The closure is necessary for culvert pipe replacement to be completed. In addition, sidewalks will also be closed through this area. Work is expected to last six weeks. Signed detour routes will be posted. The starting date and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Dial 511 or log onto 511.ky.gov for the latest in traffic and travel information in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Navigate traffic with Waze at www.waze.com.
