Mr. James William Scott, age 69, of Summersville, KY passed away on Tuesday at his home.

Cremation was chosen by Mr. James William Scott and his family, and the family wishes to have a memorial gathering at the family farm at 1720 Scott Marcum Road, Greensburg at 4pmCT, Sunday, May 24, 2015.

He was born December 24, 1945. He died Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at his home in Summersville, Green County, KY, at the age of 69 years, 4 months, and 25 days.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: James William Scott, II of Summersville, KY; and Josh Scott of Summersville, KY

  • Three brothers & a sister-in-law: Albert Scott, Glynn & Johnnie Scott, all of Louisville, KY; and Jerry Scott of Summersville

  • A sister & brother-in-law: Jo Ann & Bill Hildebrand of Louisville, KY

  • Four grandchildren
Memorial flowers can be placed at the gate to the family farm at anytime. Memorial donations can be sent to Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home to placed toward the family cemetery funds.
