Dello Foley, 83, Russell County, KY (1932-2015)

He was a retired truck driver and a member of Good Tidings Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. He was a native of Russell County, KY and a resident of the county at the time of his death. His wife of 64 years, Flora Wilmoth Foley, survives. He leaves eight direct living descendants.

Dello Foley, 83, of Russell Springs, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, at his home.

Funeral service for Dello Foley will be 10amCT, Wednesday. May 20, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Josh Owens and Bro. James Robertson officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Burial will be in the New Friendship Cemetery. Special Music by the The Foley Family. Pallbearers: Mike Robertson, Walter Robertson, Mitchell Robertson, Terry Robertson, Greg Foley, and Paul Barger.

He was born Saturday, January 23, 1932 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Ricy & Evelyn Hatfield Foley. He died Saturday, May 16, 2015, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the aage of 83 years, three months, and 23 days.

He was a retired truck driver and a member of Good Tidings Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jerusha Dean Foley. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Flora Wilmoth Foley, and the following:
  • One son: Danny Foley, Wilmington, Ohio

  • Two grandchildren: Christopher Dello Foley, Florida; and Angela Ellen Opalack, Florida

  • Five great grandchildren

  • Two sisters: Odell Robertson, Russell Springs, KY; and Adell (Michael) Barger, also of Russell Springs

  • One brother: Jerry Foley, Bargersville, IN
