COLUMBIA, KY - The top-seeded Lindsey Wilson College softball team was able to outlast fourth-seeded St. Francis (IL) 2-1 in their opening game of the NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round at Lindsey Wilson Park, Monday, 11 May, 2015.



The win extended Lindsey Wilson's program-record winning streak to 30-straight games. Clinging to a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the sixth, Jordan Hood entered the game and proceeded to strike out three of the final four batters before a ground out ended the game and preserved the win for the Blue Raiders. Lindsey Wilson played the game as the visiting team as a result of the coin flip.
