ITA recognizes six members of LWC tennis program

Two coaches, four student-athletes highlight the honorees

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's tennis teams combined to have six selections for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association NAIA Regional Awards, as released by the national governing body on Thursday, May 7, 2015.

Daniel Finn earned ITA East Men's Coach of the Year recognition. Additionally, Johnny Thornton received ITA East Men's Assistant Coach of the Year honors. Thornton is in his first season on the Lindsey Wilson coaching staff.

Denis Porcic earned ITA East Rookie of the Year recognition. Francisco Charters received ITA East Most Improved Player of the Year honors.

On the women's side, Henar Munoz claimed ITA East Rookie of the Year recognition. Anna Gaprindashvili earned ITA East Most Improved Player of the Year honors.
