John Webster, Taylor Co., KY (1953-2015)

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Early's Chapel United Methodist Church. John was best known as a loving husband, caring father and grandfather and was a devoted Christian. In his past time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on hot rods with his son, Aaron. He was an employee of Joy Mining in Lebanon, KY. He was a member of a highly regarded family, the son of Cynthia Moss Webster and the late Lawrence Lee Webster. His wife, Bonnie Webster, survives. He leaves three direct and two step living descendants.

Funeral services will be at 12pmCT/1pmET, Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave in Campbellsville by Rev. Mark Price, Rev. Robert Morris and Rev. Paul J. Dicken. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET,Friday, May 1, 2015 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



John Webster, Taylor Co., KY (1953-2015)


He was the son of Cynthia Moss Webster and the late Lawrence Lee Webster, and was born Friday, August 14, 1953, in Taylor County, KY. He died Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 61 years, eight months, and 14 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Early's Chapel United Methodist Church.

John was best known as a loving husband, caring father and grandfather and was a devoted Christian. In his past time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on hot rods with his son, Aaron.

He was an employee of Joy Mining in Lebanon, KY.

He united in marriage to Bonnie Faulkner February 10, 1973. Besides his wife, Bonnie Webster of Campbellsville, KY, he is survived by the following:
  • One son and one daughter: Aaron Webster and wife, Dawn; and Leslie Sprowles and significant other, Ryan Shofner of Campbellsville, KY

  • One granddaughter: McKayla Sprowles of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two-step-grandsons: Dustin Bennett and Dalton Bennett of Campbellsville, KY

  • His mother: Cynthia Webster of Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother: Bobby Webster and wife, Anita of Cane Valley, KY

  • One sister-in-law: Beverly Lee of Louisville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • and many other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Diana Carter. The family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
