Sally Kemp: Suggests Town Hall meeting to answer questions

Community needs, deserves answers from Election Board and Elected officials, she says. Suggests Town Hall meeting with individuals who have the answers would be great first step
Response to: Mayoral Issue: Who's Driving the Bus(es)???

By Sally Kemp

I think there are a number of citizens who would like some answers! Not only to who's driving the bus and the reasons the Election board decided to appeal Judge Vance's ruling but to the questions I presented yesterday concerning the recent election!

A town hall meeting with individuals that have answers would be a great first step.

There have been decisions made that it seems only "they" have the answers as to why those decisions were made. Financial decisions concerning members of this town are being made without any input or consideration of those who will bear the burden.

Is it becoming too expensive to live in Columbia? Do the benefits outweigh the costs? That answer will be specific to each individual. But you can guarantee this controversy and lack of sharing of information is NOT attractive to anyone who wishes to locate here or who is scouting locations for industry!

I would encourage each individual in an elected position in Columbia/Adair County to consider who placed them in their position and what will the voter remember about them the next time they go to cast their vote!

Respectfully submitted,

- Sally Kemp
