He was the son of Charles Blair of Edmonton, KY, and the late Sue Ann Bailey Blair. He was a farmer and member of the Whickerville Missionary Baptist Church. He leaves three direct living descendants.

Danny Dale Blair age 46 of Horse Cave, KY, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Friday at Whickerville Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Whickerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2pmCT until 8pmCT, Thursday, April 23, 2015, at the church.



He was the son of Charles Blair of Edmonton and the late Sue Ann Bailey Blair. He was a farmer and member of the Whickerville Missionary Baptist Church.

Besides his father, he is survived by his wife Mary Sanders Blair of Horse Cave, KY, and the following:
  • Two children: Timothy Dale Blair of Edmonton, KY; and Angela Faye Self of Horse Cave, KY

  • Two brothers: Gordon Blair and wife Margaret of Canmer, KY; and Richard Blair and special friend Myra Johnson of Scottsville, KY

  • A sister: Vanessa Yates and special friend Royce Morgan of Greensburg, KY

  • One grandchild: Jayden Self

  • His mother in law: Lola Sanders

  • Nieces and nephews: Valerie Turner, Sherry Hogan, Thomas Yates and Zachary Blair.
Besides his mother he was preceded in death by a brother Charles Ray Blair and father in law James Sanders.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the family burial fund.
