Brandon Berry signs with LWC Basketball for 2015-16 season Berry averaged 15.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game during his senior season at Taylor County High School By Charles Balcolm News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - Brandon Berry is the latest addition to the Lindsey Wilson men's basketball roster for the upcoming 2015-16 season, head coach Paul Peck announced on Monday, April 20, 2015. Berry was an all-district and all-region performer while at Taylor Country High School in Campbellsville, KY. During his senior season at Taylor County, Berry played in all 33 games averaging 15.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Both were the second-most on the team. Berry also averaged 1.9 steals and 1.1 assists per game while shooting 74 percent from the free throw line. He shot 53 percent from the field including a 37 percent mark from beyond the arc during his senior season. The 6-foot-3 guard helped lead Taylor County to a 27-5 record last year with a perfect 8-0 mark in district play, advancing to the KHSAA Sweet Sixteen. He was named to the district all-tournament team and selected to the all-tournament team at the Battle at the Villages holiday tournament, which features some of the top high school programs from around the country. Berry was also named the Most Outstanding Player at the Scout.com Classic during his senior season. "Brandon has the potential to be a very good player in the Mid-South Conference," Peck said. "He is physically mature for an incoming freshman and that will help him adjust to the physical style of play in the MSC."
