CU Orchestra Spring Concert: 21 Apr 2015

The Campbellsville University Orchestra, under the baton of Dr. J. Robert Gaddis, professor of music, will present its Spring Concert on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 7pmCT/8pmET, in the Ransdell Chapel, 401 N Hoskins Avenue, Campbellsville, KY. The concert is free and open to the public.



This will be the final concert for Gaddis as he is retiring a the conclusion of this semester.

The program will include mostly sacred selections and selections with significant meaning to Gaddis. The orchestra will present "Fanfar for the Common Man for Brass and Percussion" by Aaron Copland; "Eiin' Feste Burg" by Johann Sebastian Bach, "Concerto in D Major, K314 for Flute and Orchestra" by W. A. Mozart; "The Majesty and Glory of Your Name" by Tom Fettke, "O Magnum Mysterium" by Morten Lauridsen, "Komm, suesser Tod" by Johann Sebastian Bach, and "Romeo and Juliette" by P.I. Tchaikovsky.
