LWC Softball wins a pair against Shawnee State on Senior Day

Blue Raider Softball hosts Shawnee State to conclude series on Sunday April 12, 2015 at 11amCT, at Lindsey Wilson Park, 928 Russell Road, Columbia, KY.

COLUMBIA, KY - The eighth-ranked Lindsey Wilson softball team claimed both ends of a doubleheader with visiting Shawnee State (OH) on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Lindsey Wilson Park.

Before the first pitch, the Blue Raiders honored their six seniors for their contributions to the softball program. Travatia Bowden, Ashley Evans, Jordan Hood, Chelsea Showers, Amanda Trampe and Andrea Whelan were acknowledged.



The Blue Raiders (31-6, 15-3 Mid-South Conference) won the opening game, 8-0, in five innings, and followed that with a 9-0 victory in five innings during the nightcap against the Bears (5-19, 1-13 MSC).
