Driver arrested on DUI, other charges, on Sano Road

ACSO alleges he was slumped over the wheel, asleep, with motor running. Officers further allege that the car and driver match a 2amCT report of a possible DUI leaving a Five Star station early this morning, 7 Apr 2015

The Adair Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Sano Road early Tuesday morning April 7, 2015, at just after 5:30amCT, to a report of a vehicle sitting in the road.



Upon arrival Deputy Aaron Rainwater recognized the vehicle registration as a possible DUI complaint officers were given early that morning at around 2amCT, leaving a local Fivestar station, but did not have a direction of travel.

Inside the vehicle Tyler Brower, 27 of Columbia was slumped over in the drivers seat with the vehicle still running. Brower was awakened and after on sight sobriety testing was placed into custody by Deputy Rainwater.

Brower was charged with DUI 2nd, Driving on DUI Suspended, and Failure of Non-owner to Maintain Required Insurance.

He was lodged in the Adair County Jail.
