LWC's Alex Bautista repeats as MSC Baseball Player of the Week

Bautista leads the Mid-South in slugging percentage, hits, runs, home runs, RBIs and total bases

COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson's Alex Bautista is the Mid-South Conference Baseball Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday, April 6, 2014. Bautista picks up his third weekly conference honor of the season and second straight.

Bautista leads the Mid-South Conference in slugging percentage (.804), hits (56), runs (47), home runs (14), RBIs (50) and total bases (111).

He is second in the conference in stolen bases (17) and third in the MSC in batting average (.406). Bautista is second in the NAIA in home runs, fourth in total bases, sixth in RBIs and seventh in slugging.

Lindsey Wilson is 24-13 overall and tied atop the Mid-South Conference standing with an 8-3 conference mark.
