Marsha Walker cites roadway drop-offs in Columbia, KY.

Bypass is 2 miles longer than directly through town, she says. (And raises an an obvious question without mentioning: Should sides of road be marked with paint?)

Personal Commentary

The drop-off I most fear in town is the curve just off Burkesville Street on Bomar Heights. It could really damage a car and injure passengers. At night it is difficult to see. There is also a bad drop-off near the water tower on Bomar Hgts. as you turn off onto the street that leads to Tutt Street.

I appreciate all the bypass suggestions. It is two miles further from our home to Hwy. 55 N than using Burkesville St., but I think it's a big help the school buses. - Marsha Walker
