Gerald Doss: Raise the fine, lower the speed limit Gerald Doss writes: I would agree with Billy Joe Fudge that reducing speed would at least reduce severity of crashes when they do happen. Plus might reduce numbers of crashes. There is no particular distraction to cause crashes at this intersection. More speed and inattention are the biggest factors. Raise the fine, lower the speed limit, and enforce it strictly. We are killing off our people.
