Greg Reeder, 64, Adair Co., KY (1950-2015)

Greg was a devoted servant of the Lord who attended & was a member of Sparksville Church of the Nazarene for 35 plus years, where he sang and played the piano. He was a devoted husband, father, pa and friend and an avid gardener. He was a truck driver and at time of his death he was a school bus driver for the Adair County Board of Education. He was a member of a highly regarded family. He was the son of Joyce Helm Reeder and the late Calvin Reeder. His wife, Deeanna Hamlett Reeder survives. He leaves three direct living descendants.

Greg Reeder age 64 years of the Flatwoods community passed away Saturday March 21, 2015 at 1:55amCT, at his home.

Funeral service will be Monday, March 23, 2015 at 2pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. with Lonny Karnes and Bro. Brian Fudge the officiating clergy. Interment in Antioch Cemetery, 3422 Wheeler Hill Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation awill be after 3pmCT, Sunday, March 22, 2015, at the funeral home.



Greg Reeder, 64, Adair Co., KY (1950-2015)


He was born Saturday, September 2, 1950 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Calvin Reeder & Joyce Helm Reeder, who survives. He died Saturday, March 21, 2015, in the Flatwoods Community of Adair County at the age of 64 years, 6 months, and 18 days.

He is survived by his mother Joyce Helm Reeder of Columbia, KY; his wife Deeanna Hamlett Reeder of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Chris (Tammy) Reeder of Columbia, KY

  • One brother Perry: (Sonja) Reeder of Columbia, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Ashley Reeder and Justin Reeder & his girlfriend Angel Burton

  • Mother-in-law & father-in-law: Katherine & Jerry Williams of Campbellsville, KY

  • Brother-in-law & Caregiver: Robert Hamlett of Columbia, KY

  • Nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends survive
