Mrs. Peggy Heath, Green Co., KY (1944-2015)

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church. She worked as a cashier. She was a native of Greensburg, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Clemon and Gracie Lee Kemp Pruitt, and the widow of Harold E. Heath.

Mrs. Peggy Heath, 70 years of age, departed this life Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, Greensburg, KY.

The funeral service will be at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, at 12pm noon CT, Friday, March 20, 2015, with Rev. Dale Curry the officiating clergy. Visitation will be 4pm-9pmCT, Thursday, March 19, 2015, and after 7amCT Friday at Foster-Toler-Curry. Interment will be in Greasy Creek Cemetery in the Exie Community of Green County, KY.



Pallbearers: Tim Shuffett, Keith Jewell, Barry Davenport, Don Wright, Bill Wright, and Joe Davidson>

Honorary Pallbearers: Sue Bondurant, Sheila Roundtree, Lula Valentine, Pat Haskin, Barbara Curry, and Wilma Tucker.

Mrs. Peggy Heath was born Saturday, November 18, 1944 in Green County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Clemon and Gracie Lee Kemp Pruitt. She departed this life Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, having attained the age of seventy years, three months and twenty-nine days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church. She worked as a cashier.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death September 25, 2006 by her husband Harold E. Heath.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son: Chad Heath of Greensburg, KY

  • One sister: Barbara Bradshaw and one brother and sister-in-law: J.D. and Mary Catherine Pruitt of Greensburg, KY

  • One brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Max and Ruth Ann Heath of Shelbyville, KY

  • One aunt: Rosie Pruitt, Greensburg, KY

  • Special niece: The Warden, Natalie Shuffett, Greensburg, KY

  • Special great niece: Gracie Todd, Greensburg, KY

  • and a special friend: Virginia Ann Judd, Greensburg, KY

  • plus a host of other relatives and friends.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Greasy Creek Cemetery. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY.
