Cecil Howard Garmon, 75, Cumberland County, KY (1939-2015)

He was a former employee of Bowling Green Express, Manning Motor Company, and Ryder Trucking Company. He was a member of Burkesville Church of Christ. He was a native of Cumberland County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Roy Beauford Garmon and Pearlie Mae Garrett Garmon. His wife, Jewell Arms Garmon, survives. He leaves five direct living descendants.

Cecil Howard Garmon age 75 of Marrowbone, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, March 07, 2015 at Cumberland County Hospital.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 1pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesvile, KY with Burial in Dutch Creek Cemetery with military honors. Family requests visitation on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 4pmCT until 9pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.



Cecil Howard Garmon, 75, Cumberland County, KY (1939-2015)


Cecil was born on April 21, 1939 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to the late Roy Beauford Garmon and Pearlie Mae Garrett Garmon. He died Saturday, March 7, 2015, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 75 years, 10 months, and 14 days.

He was a former employee of Bowling Green Express, Manning Motor Company, and Ryder Trucking Company. He was a member of Burkesville Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Samuel Ray Garmon, Stanly Buford Garmon, Floyd Garmon, and James Leo Garmon; and one sister, Rrene Branham. Survivors include:
  • His wife: Jewell Arms Garmon of Marrowbone, KY

  • One son: Timmie Howard Garmon and his wife Jackie of Hopkinsville, KY

  • One sister: Christine Garmon Garrett of Anderson, IN

  • Four grandchildren: Kyla Michelle Francis, Shawn Paul Francis and his wife Trista, Derrick Lee Garmon, and McKenzie Grace Garmon

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
