Indians fall to Bardstown 59-38

By Brent Campbell

The Adair County Indians' Boys Basketball season ended Saturday after falling to the Bardstown Tigers in the first round of the Fifth Region Tournament. Adair County trailed 34-19 at the half but played even with the Tigers in the third quarter. However, the Indians just could not overcome the deficit in the final period.

The final score of 59-38 closed out the season for the Indians.

Chance Melton was named to the Fifth Region All Tournament team.

We would like to wish the best of luck to our senior players and cheerleaders: Harlee Smock, Aaran Taylor, Noah Polston, Zach Hutchison, Shelbi Cheatham, Cyera Jamison, and Taylor Burton. Thank you for the being a part of Adair County basketball and cheer.
