LWC's Bryan Wallace named MSC Freshman of the Year D'on Hall earned First Team MSC honors, Tony Horne and Julian Edmonson named to Second Team. Pikeville's (KY) Kenny Manigault was named the MSC Player of the Year, Campbellsville's (KY) Keith Adkins Coach of the Year and both Darius Clement of Campbellsville and Austin Vance of Shawnee State (Ohio) earned the Champions of Character award By Charles Balcom News from Lindsey Wilson College FRANKFORT, KY - Bryan Wallace is the Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Freshman of the Year, conference officials announced on Thursday evening, March 6, 2015, at the MSC awards banquet held at the Capital Plaza Hotel. D'on Hall was named to the All-MSC First Team and both Tony Horne and Julian Edmonson received All-MSC Second Team honors. Wallace a native of Lexington, Ky., averages 9.8 points per game and is second on the team with 46 steals. He averages 25.6 minutes per game, the second-most on the team, and his 1.70 steals per game are the second-most in the MSC. It is Lindsey Wilson's first MSC Freshman of the Year honor since former Blue Raider Kalen Kimberland picked up the award during the 2009-10 season. Hall was named to the First Team after previously earning Second Team honors last season. Hall is averaging 13.1 points per game this year and leads the team with 49 steals. He is second on the team with 57 assists and tied for second with 4.4 rebounds per game. Horne and Edmonson both pick up Second Team honors for the first time in their careers. Horne averages 9.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game and leads the team with a 56.5 shooting percentage from the floor.
