LW Softball heads south for NFCA NAIA Leadoff Classic

20 teams set to compete this weekend

COLUMBIA, KY - The No. 4 Lindsey Wilson softball team travels to Columbus, Georgia, for the National Fastpitch Coaches Association NAIA Leadoff Classic beginning on Friday, February 27, 2015. Held at the South Commons Softball Complex, 400 4th Street, Columbus, GA, 31901, the three-day event consists of pool play followed by bracket play tournaments. The 20-team field is split into five pool groups.

Lindsey Wilson opens against William Carey (MS) at 2:30pmCT on Friday, February 27, 2015.

To close out its slate of games on Friday, Lindsey Wilson faces Oklahoma Baptist at 5pmCT.

On Saturday, February 28, 2015, Lindsey Wilson squares off against Central Methodist (MO) at 12:30pmCT.
