ACHS Indians defeat Hart County, 67-57 at Biggers Sports Center Thanks to Athletic Director Willis Pooler, Sound Engineer John Conover and Lindsey Wilson College, Indians had venue ready for the crowd. Seniors honored: Our three senior Cheerleaders, Taylor Burton, Cyera Jamison, and Shelbi Cheatham, Harlee Smock our senior Lady Indian, and Zach Hutchison, Noah Polston, and Aaran Taylor, our three senior Indians. By Brent Campbell Adair County High School Athletic Director The Adair County Indians basketball team capped off the 2014-15 regular season with a 67-57 win over the Hart County Raiders Saturday afternoon, February 21, 2015, at Lindsey Wilson College's Biggers Sports Center. With the cancellation of Friday night's doubleheader with Hart County, the Indians were very fortunate to be able to complete their season Saturday by changing venues to Biggers Sports Center. I would like to extend a special thanks to Mr. Willis Pooler, Director of Athletics, for allowing us to use their facilities. Also, to Mr. Jon Conover, Custodian and Sound Engineer, for having things ready to go and make Senior Day possible. Senior cheerleaders, Lady Indians, and Indians honored The afternoon began by recognizing our three senior Cheerleaders Taylor Burton, Cyera Jamison, and Shelbi Cheatham, Harlee Smock our senior Lady Indian, and Zach Hutchison, Noah Polston, and Aaran Taylor, our three senior Indians. THANK YOU and best of luck in your future. These seven ACHS seniors have devoted many hours to their organizations during their high school days. Each of them were honored this afternoon by their coaches, family, and fans to express the appreciation for their dedication to their teams. Next week these seven seniors, along with their teammates, will be at work in the 20th District Tournament held at Campbellsville High School, 230 W Main Street (campus), Campbellsville. The Lady Indians will open district play on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 5pmCT/6pmET, against the Campbellsville Lady Eagles.
