Columbia Police arrest pair on shoplifting, drug charges

Responding to theft related complaint, Officer Josh Brockman and Drew Conn arrest pair who now face allegations of shoplifting, drug violations and more. They have been lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.

On Sunday, February 15, 2015 Columbia Police Department responded to Walmart on a theft related complaint. Officers was advised suspects were attempting to leave in Blue 2008 Ford F-150 with excess of 100.00 dollars of stolen merchandise. Officers located vehicle and retrieved all stolen items in addition to controlled substances and a concealed deadly weapon.

Arrested were:


  • Christopher Stevens, 31 of Columbia, KY: Charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking/ Shoplifting, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, and Possession of a Concealed Deadly Weapon.
  • Angela Goodall, 36 of Columbia, KY: Charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking /Shoplifting, Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, and Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container.
Both were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Ofc. Josh Brockman and Ofc. Drew Conn.
