AC Fire Department responds to fire on Old Montpelier RD By Donald Hare, Public Affairs Officer Adair County Fire Department, 200 Merchant Street, Columbia, KY The Adair County Fire Department responded to a residential house fire early Tuesday morning. The call came in at 01:04amCT to 1949 Old Montpelier Road. The residence was owned by a Earl Coffey and occupied by Ron Smith. Fire is believed to have started in a downstairs bedroom ceiling causing moderate damage upstairs. There were 14 firemen on the scene for 1.5 hours. This story was posted on 2015-02-17 05:49:23
