Billy Joe Fudge comments on contested Mayoral election

The constitution, the rule of law and the intent of the voter should be protected by all reasonable measures. - BILLY JOE FUDGE

Billy Joe Fudge writes:
Curtis Hardwick is a friend of mine.

Ben Arnold is a friend of mine.

Obviously, I'm no lawyer but I know that friendships, relationships and personal or professional relationships should have nothing to do with the integrity of the election process.

The constitution, the rule of law and the intent of the voter should be protected by all reasonable measures.

Even when there is no intentional malfeasance, the process should be above reproach.

As I see it, the will of the citizenry of Columbia can or could not be thwarted by a new election.
