Joint action results in arrest of two on heroin, meth charges

Two arrested on Marion County Circuit Court indictments at house on Friendship Road in Taylor County, KY at 5:30pmET, on Wed 4 Feb 2015. Allegations in warrants include heroin and meth charges; male faces sodomy, incest charges. Arrests are result of joint operation of Campbellsville Police Department, Kentucky State Police, Lebanon Police Department, and Taylor County Sheriff's Office. Action comes as a result of 2 year investigation. More charges may follow, authorities say.

From Campbellsville, KY 911

On Wednesday, February 4, 2015 Officers from the Campbellsville Police Department, Kentucky State Police and Taylor County Sheriff's Department responded to a house on Friendship Road in Taylor County. There, Campbellsville Police Officers arrested former Taylor County residents Angela R. Williams age 37, and Steven Dale Cox Williams age 41, now of Marion County.


  • Steven Williams was arrested on Marion Circuit Court Indictments for: 2 counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense less than 2 grams of heroin; 1 count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense more than 2 grams of heroin; 1 count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense more than 10 Dose Units of a Schedule 2; 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense Methamphetamine; 1 count of Drug Paraphernalia; 2 counts of Sodomy 1st Degree; 2 counts of Incest; 3 Counts of Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree; and 1 Count of Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree

  • Angela R. Williams was arrested on Marion Circuit Court Indictments for: 1 count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd Offense less than 2 grams heroin; 1 count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd Offense more than 2 grams heroin; 1 count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd Offense more10 dose units of a schedule 2; 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense Methamphetamine
The drug charges are a result of a 2 year investigation by Kentucky State Police DESI WEST, Campbellsville Police Department, & the Lebanon Police Department, into heroin trafficking in Marion and Taylor Counties that includes multiple individuals from both counties. More charges may follow.
