Harper Sutherland White signs with UK Soccer He's grandson of Donna Marcum Harper of Columbia, KY, and, bragging up in heaven, the late Jimmy F. Harper Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) Jamie Harper writes, "Just thought I would share this since Daddy is not there to brag all over town about his grandson!! I know he is bragging up in heaven right now!!!" She sent the accompanying photo of Harper Sutherland White, taken yesterday, Wed, 4 Feb 2015, on National Signing Day, when Harper White committed to play soccer for the University of Kentucky Wildcats. It's a family tradition. Harper's father, Richard White, was goalkeeper for UK Soccer from 1982 to 1984. Harper White a member of Louisville Collegiate School class of 2015. He was named the Titan's Most Valuable Player, and was an All "A" State Player of the years, and on the All "A" State Champions, Kentucky High School Athletics Association All-State First Team. At the signing and in the accompanying photo are Harper White; his parents, Jamie Harper White and Richard White; and Louisville Collegiate Coach Brad Davies and Lifetime Goalkeeper Coach Thabane Sutu.
