ACHS Career/Technical Ed showcase will be Mon 9 Feb 2015 Showcase includes previews of two new career pathways scheduled to debut in the 2015-2016 school year: Aerospace and Broadcast Journalism. These two additional pathways will provide students with even greater opportunities to explore their career interests and gain hands-on experience Click on headline for complete story By Troy Young and Shamarie Claiborne News from Adair County School District The Adair County High School Career and Technical Education Showcase is something you will not want to miss. It will be held on February 9, 2015, from 5pmCT to 6:30pmCT at the Adair County High School, 526 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY. The showcase will feature opening remarks from student leaders and Superintendent Alan Reed. All CTE departments (Agriculture, Business, the Energy Academy, Family and Consumer Sciences, Graphic Arts, Health Sciences, Information Technology, and Welding Technology) will be available for guests to visit to view student work and to see the CTE programs available to ACHS students. The highlight of the evening will be the opportunity for you to see our new Lake Cumberland Area Technology Center Satellite Campus featuring Health Sciences and Welding Technology. Students are very excited to have these programs available at ACHS. Also featured will be previews of two new career pathways scheduled to debut in the 2015-2016 school year: Aerospace and Broadcast Journalism. These two additional pathways will provide students with even greater opportunities to explore their career interests and gain hands-on experience.
