Mrs. Linda Kay Perkins Brown, age 50, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends from 11am until 3pmCT, on Friday, January 30, 2015 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY.

She was born in Barren County, Kentucky on Wednesday, September 9, 1964, the daughter of the late Roy Perkins and Betty Brown Lyons, who survives. She died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, Kentucky at the age of 50 years, four months, and 18 days.

She was a member of Pink Ridge Baptist Church, a caregiver and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Perkins, her paternal grandparents, Jim Bill and Lena Perkins and her maternal grandparents, Elmer and Rosie Brown.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her mother: Betty Brown Lyons of Edmonton, Kentucky

  • Her son: Kenny Lee (Pamela) Tomblin of Edmonton, Kentucky

  • Her brothers and sisters: Roger Perkins of Edmonton, Kentucky: Velma England of Edmonton, Kentucky, Greg (Lori) Perkins of Columbia, Kentucky; Zebbie (Cheryl) Perkins of Flint, Michigan; Gracie Burden of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; Debbie Brown of Tompkinsville, Kentucky; Amanda Perkins of Columbia, Tennessee

  • Her grandchildren: Roy, Kenny, Chase, Whitney, Klohe

  • Her friend: Stevie Wright of Burkesville, Kentucky
