Linda Kay Marrs, age 57, of Campbellsville died Sunday, January 25, 2015 in Louisville, KY.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12pmCT/1pmET, Thursday, January 29, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. The family requests visitation from 10amCT/11amET to 12pmCT/1pmET, on Thursday, prior to the funeral.



Linda Kay Marrs, 57, Taylor County, KY (1957-2015)


She was born October 4, 1957. She was the daughter of the late Charles Eugene and Eva Lillian Cooley Roberston. She died Sunday, January 25, 2015, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 57 years, three months, and 21 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Abrams.

A devoted wife and mother, she is survived by her husband, James William Marrs, Sr., and the following:
  • Her children: Angela Akin and her husband, David of Greensburg, KY; Mary Kendall and her husband, Jimmy of Campbellsville, KY; and James William Marrs, Jr. and his companion, Desiree Conover, of Campbellsville, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Seven great-grandchildren

  • Her brothers: Marvin Robertson and his wife, Elaine, of Louisville, KY; Robbie Robertson and Eddie Robertson and his wife, Donna, of Indiana

  • A sister: Melissa Neese of Indiana

  • A brother-in-law: James T. Abrams of Campbellsville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
