Janice Dean White Goodin, 73, Russell County, KY (1941-2015)

She made a profession of faith and was baptized at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church as a teenager. She was a native of Russell Springs, KY, and a resident of the Webbs Cross Roads, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Walter & Marie Combest White. She married Hubert Allen Goodin on August 5, 1961 and together she and Hubert raised their sons and operated a dairy in the Webbs Cross Roads/Sano area of Russell County, KY. She leaves three direct living descendants.

Janice Dean White Goodin, 73, of the Webbs Cross Roads of Russell County, died Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral service for Janice Dean White Goodin will be at 1pmCT, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. David Hammond officiating. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Wednesday. Burial in the Russell County Memorial Gardens.

She was born Saturday, June 22, 1941 in Russell Springs, KY. She was the daughter of the late Walter & Marie Combest White. She died Sunday, January 25, 2015, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 73 years, seven months, and three days.

She married Hubert Allen Goodin on August 5, 1961 and together she and Hubert raised their sons and operated a dairy in the Webbs Cross Roads/Sano area of Russell County, KY. Janice made a profession of faith and was baptized at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church as a teenager.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons: Timothy Allen (Lesley) Goodin, Kevil, KY; and John Mark (Judy) Goodin, Russell Springs, KY

  • One grandaughter: Elizabeth Diane Goodin

  • Special brother: Lonnie (Carolyn) White, Russell Springs, KY

  • Several neices, nephews, cousins, brothers/sisters-in-law and friends

  • Special neighbor: Linda McGaha
The family requests memorials to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan. These can be made at the funeral home.
