LBN Parkway crash results in death of Nashville, TN driver Driver pronounced dead at the scene by Russell County Coroner Mike Reynolds. Passenger airlifted from the scene to UK Medical Center. Sheriff Clete McAninch, Jamestown, KY Deputy Nick Bertam is investigating a single vehicle fatality accident which occurred at approximately 7:30pmCT, Saturday, January 24, 2015, on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway near the Russell-Pulaski county line. Jessie James Davis, age 34, of Nashville, TN, was operating a 2013 Chevrolet eastbound on the parkway when he lost control of the vehicle, which left the roadway, overturned and came to a rest on its top. Davis and a passenger, Romaine Ross, 42, also of Nashville, were both ejected from the vehicle. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene by Russell County Coroner Mike Reynolds. Ross was airlifted from the scene to the U.K. Medical Center where she remains in serious condition. The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Speed is believed to be a contributing factor. Also responding to the scene: Deputy Evan Burton, Deputy Dustin Bunch, KSP Units, Russell County EMS, and Russell Springs Fire Department.
