Elsie Norene Judd, Green County, KY (1929-2015)

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church. She worked at Deposit Bank in Greensburg, KY for several years. She was a native of Green County, KY, the daughter of the late Otis and Nettie Price Judd. Her husband, Holland V. "Paddle" Judd, survives. She leaves 15 direct living descendants spanning four generations.

Elsie Norene Judd, 85, departed this life Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral service for Elsie Norene Judd will be at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, at 11amCT, Monday, January 26, 2015. Visitation is 3pm-8pmCT, Sunday, January 25, 2015, and after 7amCT Monday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg. Ministers officiating will be Rev. Jerry Noe and Rev. Timmy Glass. Interment will be in Green County Memory Garden, Summersville, KY.



Pallbearers: Daven Curry, Rhuel Bishop, Sean Curry, Mike Pennington, Jr. Kessler, Tim Meadows, and Gary Pennington.

Honorary Pallbearers: Gerald Judd, Rollin Wayne Wright, William Allen Judd Mike Lyons, and Eddie Dockery.

Elsie Norene Judd was born Friday, November 22, 1929 in Green County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Otis and Nettie Price Judd. She departed this life Saturday, January 24, 2015 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, having attained the age of 85 years, two months and two days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church. She worked at Deposit Bank in Greensburg, KY for several years.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one grandchild: Christopher Judd; two brothers: Double Dry Judd and Puddle Judd and one sister, Irene Judd

She is survived by her husband Holland V. "Paddle" Judd, and the following:
  • one son and two daughters: Gilbert and Sharon Judd of Louisville, KY; Joyce and Bobby Buckner of Greensburg, KY; and Judy and Ronnie Cambron of Hodgenville, KY

  • One brother and one sister: Georing Judd and Ann Meadows of Greensburg, KY

  • Three grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren

  • And five great great grandchildren

  • Plus a host of other relatives and friends.
